We can match the flood of “I earned xx amount” with a similar flood of complaints until Ev takes notice. Also, so that the non-writers here know that we don’t like what’s going on.

Writers here must be reminded, WHO do we write for? We write for the READERS primarily, not for the writers here.

I was led to Medium by the many intelligently written articles I found by Google search. My impression was Medium is a place where thinkers, creatives need not scale down their writing for ad revenue. Guess what I found out when I signed up: a lot of salesy writing and marketing. Just when I thought that Medium was an ad-free heaven.
