Thank you for this story! I've been feeling guilty about bringing my children into this world, not just because of their adding carbon footprint, but because of what they will suffer when it all gets worse in the future. Climate writing can be misanthropic sometimes, it makes us guilty for simply existing. I so need this reminder that I'm more than the waste I can't help but generate, that I and my children can "create" what's good for our planet home.
