Looks like what’s happening to you is happening to other writers as well. I’ve read one by a writer who has written 500 articles since joining Medium in September (I think), none of them curated, and then suddenly, out of the blue, 9 of his articles got curated in a day. Yes, like he’s been “noticed,” as you said. In his comment section are folks who said it’s also happening to their work too.

I don’t write a lot here, but whenever I do I get curated (most of the time, yes I’m very lucky). But this February, none of my articles were chosen, not even one, which I found weird. I’m having zero views in many of them. I started to think I must’ve done something wrong that I got myself in jail. Then yesterday two got distributed. I’m wondering now whether curators or bots are looking at our work in batches, like several of work together in one go, and deciding which ones to curate all at once.
