I relate so much to this. My personal favorites among my Medium stories are the uncurated ones. They don’t get a lot of views, but they’re the ones I’m proudest of. We can write for money (my parenting and education articles are like your programming ones), and we can write for self-exploration, too, which is more fulfilling but not as lucrative.
