I live in a tropical country. When we still lived on the beach, my daughter who spent her babyhood till kindergarten years there was practically outside all day until evening and she’d nap on the sand every day. It’s not cold of course, but the fresh air and constant exposure to the elements I think made her very healthy. There was no hospital there but she didn’t get sick at all. Same idea I guess, just different weather.
