I also fail horribly at reading to my kids. How ironic, right, given that we write and read? I'm a literature teacher who barely finds the time and energy to read to my 9 year old. We just watch movies before bed till I doze off--bad bedtime habit, but that's the only way I could be present. We do what we can :-)
