Hi Usmi. Good question, and hard to answer! It's more about writing philosophy than writing style. From the standpoint of technical writing, language is merely a tool for expressing facts and ideas. From the standpoint of creative writing, it's the other way around. Language shapes culture and dominant ways of thinking, so it cannot simply be a "tool" at a writer's disposal. A creative writer who's sensitive to language will feel subjected to that language (say, the gendered nature of English and the worldview it espouses). That's why creative writers tend to play with language and drive it to its limits rather than "use" it objectively like a tool.
